Meet the Fort Worth Team Behind Sutton ADU Fort Worth
Sutton ADU Fort Worth is not a call center with a rotating cast of subcontractors. The people who show up to walk your lot, hash out your setback, and frame your walls are the same people you’ll talk to when you call the office. Most of our crew has worked together for years, and a few of them live within twenty minutes of the neighborhoods we build in most. What unites everyone on this team is simple: we’d rather slow a project down by a day than rush through something that fails later. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means every person on this crew signs off on their own work.
Our People

Jesse R. – Lead Technician, ADU Systems
Jesse has been building residential structures across Tarrant County for over a decade, and he’s been with Sutton ADU Fort Worth since we expanded into prefab and modular installations. He leads the technical side of every ADU project, which means he’s the one running point on foundation coordination, utility tie-ins, and the structural work that happens before finishes go in. Jesse is factory-certified on the Abodu, Plant Prefab, and Boxabl install processes, and he’s the first person we send when a site survey uncovers something unexpected. He’s also a Fort Worth native who can tell you which streets in Fairmount have the trickiest alley access, because he’s probably already built on one.
Dana K. – Senior Installer, Exterior Cladding
Dana specializes in exterior envelope work, with a focus on James Hardie cladding systems and the moisture management details that keep a Texas summer from cooking a wall assembly. She came to Sutton after years working on custom home exteriors, and she’s the one who catches the small things before they become warranty claims: flashing laps, caulk joints, vent placement, drainage planes. Dana is exact about measurements to the point of occasional comedy on the job site, but nobody argues with the result. Outside of work, she runs a small ceramics studio, which might explain her patience for long, precise finishing work.
Marcus T. – Service Coordinator
Marcus is the voice on the other end of (682) 255-2399 for most of our Fort Worth clients. He handles scheduling, permit paperwork, and the daily rhythm of keeping builds moving, and he’s the person who makes sure you know exactly who is arriving at your property and when. Before coordinating projects, Marcus worked in construction material logistics, so he speaks the language of lead times and backorders without pretending every shipment lands on time. He keeps a running mental map of every active Sutton ADU job in Fort Worth, and he can usually tell you off the top of his head whether your inspection is on the Tuesday or Thursday cycle. Marcus is also the one who sends you the name and photo of your technician before any visit, per the Threshold Standard.
Priya S. – Apprentice, Site Work and Foundations
Priya joined the crew two years ago through a Fort Worth trades training program, and she’s been full-time on our site work and foundation crew ever since. Under Jesse’s supervision, she handles a lot of the ground-level preparation: grading checks, form setting, anchor bolt placement, and early-stage framing support. Priya is pursuing her next certification level, and she’s already earned the internal sign-off to lead small site tasks independently. She grew up in a family that built their own home from the ground up, so construction is not an abstract career for her. On Mondays, she usually has the best lunch recommendations on the team.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Sutton ADU Fort Worth project runs on the same operating rules, whether it’s a one-bedroom Tuff Shed conversion near Ridglea or a two-bedroom Dvele unit off Northside. The written price you receive before work begins is a fixed document, not a starting point for negotiation. The people on your job site are background-checked, identity-verified, uniformed, and carry a photo badge, and you’ll have their name and photo before they ring your doorbell. That’s the Threshold Standard, and it’s not a marketing phrase we put on a brochure. It’s the system Miles Hartwell runs this location by, and it’s why the 365-Day Done Right Promise gets stamped on every contract with a full year of coverage behind it.
Questions Homeowners Ask About Our Fort Worth Team

Who actually shows up to build my ADU in Fort Worth?
You’ll get the same small, named crew throughout your project, not a rotating set of anonymous subcontractors. Jesse leads the technical build, Dana handles exterior systems, Priya supports site work, and Marcus coordinates scheduling and communication. Before any visit, you’ll receive the technician’s name and photo so you know exactly who to expect at your door.
Does the crew work on all ADU types and sizes?
Yes. The Fort Worth crew handles detached ADUs, room additions, and home additions, with hands-on experience installing Abodu, Dvele, Mighty Buildings, Boxabl, Plant Prefab, and Cover systems. They also work on Tuff Shed conversions and James Hardie exterior cladding, which means you get honest guidance on which product actually fits your lot, setbacks, and budget rather than a push toward one brand.
How do I know the team is vetted?
Every Sutton ADU Fort Worth field employee is background-checked and identity-verified under the Threshold Standard. They arrive in a marked, clean uniform and show a photo ID badge, and Marcus sends you their name and photo before the visit. If that process ever lapsed, the person wouldn’t be on your property.
Who do I call if something goes wrong after the build?
Call (682) 255-2399 and talk to a live person, any time. If a workmanship issue comes up within one full calendar year, the 365-Day Done Right Promise covers it, and a second visit is free. There’s no haggling, no service fee, and no argument about whose fault it is. Call us and we’ll schedule the visit.
